Why OYAP?

  • Gain access to an excellent source of young, enthusiastic and skilled students with strong support systems to ensure success.

  • Through OYAP, employers can assess students on the job before committing to an apprenticeship.

  • WSIB coverage is provided by the Ministry of Education during the contract.

  • Employers are under no obligation to pay students.

  • OYAP students do not affect apprentice ratios.
