Accelerated OYAP.
Accelerated OYAP is an intensive one-semester program that combines a co-op placement with an 8-week block of Level 1 training at a College or Union training centre. An Accelerated OYAP student becomes a Registered Apprentice with the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD).
Accelerated OYAP is only available in the second semester of each year, beginning in February.

To apply please speak to your Co-op Teacher or Guidance Counsellor. Applications are done through the Experiential Learning Information System (ELIS).

Job Coaches.
Our job coach program helps students transition from Accelerated OYAP into the world of work. If students are not hired by their co-op employer at the end of the semester their assigned job coach will help them to find an employer.
The success rate is incredible! The majority of graduates are now fully employed in their trade.
